Our First Modern Design

We're building this house in one of the newest prime subdivision in Bacolod CIty. This is what we hope the beginning of our journey home. 

DESIGN

This is our first modern design which doesn't refer to known style but just making a statement that here we are and we just want a functional house with simple living in mind. Perhaps still it is being influenced by the past residences we used to see as the middle eastern lines shows but just tapered by the triangular protrution instead of a dome.

CONSTRUCTION

We are arranging construction to begin by November and should be a straight forward concrete structure with more emphasis in the technical aspect of hidden roofing..

UNIQUE

What we see is the integrating of function with design. The down spout shall contribute to the vertical lines, the kitchen exhaust protrudes through the roof to pair with the stair well. Living, dining and kitchen share a high ceiling.

OVERALL

This should be challenge in cross province construction.
