We were introduced to this very special couple. The husband is from the United Kingdom and the wife is from Negros. They plan to live here and were moving from their residence in Spain. The idea is not to miss out what they enjoyed most, living in Spain. So we had to come out with a house that suitably accomodate a couple and perhaps a visitor from time to time. Oh, they wanted pool.
DESIGN
It was straight and simple. A three bedroom house and not necesarilly big rooms but just enough space to move around. The lot is about 460 meters and we had to fit a pool. It turned out just with the right size area for living and even have a tall ceiling which overlooks the living area from the aisle to the master's bedroom upstairs.
CONSTRUCTION
The owner was living in a hotel during the construction and eager to move in at any opportunity. We finished the master's bedroom first and they moved in while we finish the rest of the house. The owner made contributions in dimensioning the finishing. We had to finish quickly and needed to get out and hand over in eight months. We did some come back work though.
UNIQUE
Our first house with a pool. Enjoyed working with the stones and the house is kept in detailed order.
OVERALL
This is the house that's being watched from beginning to end. It sits right on the main road of the subdivision and everyone get's a feast as they drive by. Perhaps its the smallest but not the least of all the houses as it stands out on its own new but aged looking facade. We enjoyed working with the owner and tried our best to meet their needs. Great experience.
